Inferior and anteroapical infarction 2. LV dysfunction
Thanks for your question on HCM. Your present 2D Echo report is sequelae of previous heart attack. Heart attack is basically decreased blood supply to the heart due to block in coronary artery. So the area of heart which is supplied by blocked vessel, becomes less functioning and appears infarcted in2 D Echo. This causes improper function of heart muscle which is known as LV dysfunction. So in the past, your heart attack damage anteroapical wall of left ventricle. So in present report this wall is seen infarcted and dysfunction of left ventricle due to this can be seen. So start betablockers, ACE inhibitors and diuretics for better control of your symptoms.
