What Does Being Diagnosed With Strawberry Cervix Mean?

Hi,



I'm 19 and I lost my virginity to my boyfriend in January. I bled a little but expected this. Every time we have had sex since, I have still bled - only a little bit still have.



I spoke to my doctor about this today. She mentioned something about a strawberyy cervix and changed me from the combined pill to a POP.



I've tried looking up what a strawberry cervix is but I don't understand. Is this an STI? If so, why hasn't my doctor given me anything to treat it?



If it's not, how did I get a strawberry cervix? What causes it?



Any info at all would be great as I am very confused right now. Thank you.
