Hi, My son is 15 year old and his ct scan repot shows .there is mild wall thickening in terminal ileum.multiple non_necrotic nodes of up to 1cm size are seen along the mesentric vessels and in right iliac fossa adjacent the ileo_caecal junction, few nodes are also seen in left pata_aortic region .need your advice
CT findings may suggests colitis. It may be due to infective etiology and it may be due to tuberculosis, etc. Your son may need clinical correlation and further investigations. He may need routine hemogram, mantoux test,chest-X-ray (PA view),specific tests for tuberculosis like T.B gold test etc. He may need medicines depending upon findings.
