What Does Black Discoloration On The Big Toe Indicate?

My husband has a large black area on his big toe. From poor circulation. And diabetic. It is hard and now the toe has turned black We have been battling this for 2 months or more. I think it is getting worse. Several doctors have looked at it and say they think it will fall off, but he has a lot of pain with it and the last couple of days it has gotten real,red and irritated looking around the big scab. What should we do

Hello,

It is turning gangrenous. Wet gangrene of the diabetes is more common and kindly get your toe removed immediately by going to the Emergency room because if it progresses, you might lose the foot.

Usually, it won't spread more but if it spread you will definitely regret losing more toe. Kindly get it examined.
