What Does Black Spot With Fuzziness In Eye Indicate?

hi, im a 48 yr old man and there's used to be a small black spot right below the dark part of my eye. about 2-3 months later, the black spot is gone and there's this much bigger brown-fuzzy looking formation that overlaps just a little bit of the dark part of my eye. is this a sign of something?
