What Does Bleeding From The Nose And Throat Indicate?

Hello. I just woke up with black blood coagulated on my lips. When I clear my throat, more blak blood in saliva comes out. I have also been struggling with a persistent nose bleed (actually a sore) in my left nostril, that has left blood on my cushions after a nigh’ts sleep. There is never a lot of blood but my left nostril has now had this sore in for at leasr three months. Nothing is getting it better.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Bleeding and sore in nose can be due to inflammation or infection of nasal mucosa( sinusitis,nasal scabs following allergy or infection. High blood pressure ,long use of nasal spray. All of these causing nasal scabs,dry nose &nose picking. You have bleeding since 3 months, which needs a check up by ENT doctor. Followed by needful investigations to find the cause./keeping blood pressure in control.
Keeping nasal passage moist ,avoiding nose picking,local application of antibiotic ointment would comprise home care before you get Doctor's appointment.
