What Does Blood Associated Ear Wax Signify?

For the past three or so years, my left ear always has extreme wax buildup, and i experience a little bit of hearing loss out of it, whenever I ve seen a doctor, they just prescribe ear drops, which have done nothing. They usually even say that the right is worse, even though I don t experience any of those problems. Two nights ago I felt my left ear constantly popping, and now I m finding blood mixed with the was in my ear. What could it be? Ruptured? Can it heal on its own?
