What Does Blood Discharge After Intercourse Indicate?
I have a odor that just started after my menstrual cycle this month. I ve never had this problem before and idk what caused it. I wipe a little blood after intercourse and I noticed a brown discharge. The odor is strong after sex and that s when I notice it. I have no itching burning or symptoms like that. Just this odor and I want it gone.
1. bleeding after intercourse is very suggestive of malignancy [unless proved otherwise] since cancer of the cervix if detected early is completely curable.
2. Sex can make you bleed soon after your periods stop and some menstrual piece (debris) stay behind in the uterus and during sex due to contraction in the uterus wall the leftover can come out resulting in bleed, but if this continues to happen it is better to consult an OBGYN doctor.
PS. Sometimes due to ongoing infection, the vaginal epithelium is prone to injury and sexual intercourse during this recovery period can cause bleeding especially after forceful sex, so wait for few days to remain abstinent from sex give time for the epithelium to grow but if the problem still persists then see a doctor.
