What Does Blood Discharge During Pregnancy Indicate?

NI am 17 w 3 d pregnant. I bled for about 5 hours nonstop on May 12th. I got an ultrasound and the baby was fine and my cervix was closed. On June 1st I got an ultrasound and they found a subchorionic bleed that measured around 7 cm. I ve been in pelvic rest ever since but can t really do bed rest because I have a one year old son at home. I have an ultrasound scheduled for Friday and I m going crazy. I haven t bled not once after that one time I bled. But I ve had some cramping specially if I m moving around too much or if I have to pee. But today when I went to pee I wiped up some old blood. It was very very minimal. And haven t wiped any more after. The thing is that I have a trip out of the country next week and I had already made plans for this baby moon. I don t have help at home so I felt that seeing some family would help. The doctor told me I can travel but online a lot of people say it can be dangerous. I just wanted to get a second opinion. I will get an ultrasound on Friday to check the bleed. And back in my country I am friends with the head of the obgyn department in my city. What do you think? Is it ok to travel? Does it seem the bleeding might reabsorb?
