What Does Blood In Saliva Indicate?

Hi, I gave my boyfriend oral sex about three hours ago. I did try to deepthroat him, I did gag a lot, and felt like it stratched or hit the back of my throat pretty hard. When I finished, I had to sit and it was blood in my saliva. The blood has been on and off since then, should I go to the emergency room?

Hello,

Probably vigorous activity may cause abrasion of throat mucosa which leads to abrasion which may lead to bleeding. Until examination is done, it is difficult to say what it is.

Use salt water gargling thrice a day for five days. If the symptoms not improved, then please consult your doctor so that he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
