Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I bleed almost every time that I have a stool. It is bright red blood and fills the stool up and leaves the water red. I recently feel a ball inside when I wipe myself. My stools are always loose. wet. I would like to have a normal stool again. I go to the bathroom about three times a day. It is always a soft, runny stool. Not solid. I don t always bleed, but when I do it is red, red and lots of it. I am so tired of not knowing what it is and not being able o have a normal stool. I am a male and 25 years old. I have been told that it is a fissure that can only be corrected by surgery
You are advised to consult a surgeon for proper evaluation and certain lab tests such as stool analysis, CBC, colonoscopy to rule out other conditions.

What Does Blood In Stool Indicate?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. Suggestive of lower gastrointestinal bleeding. Passing bright red blood in the stool may be caused by hemorrhoids, anal fissure, fistula in ano, inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis or Crohn disease), infections such as amoebiasis or dysentery, diverticular disease of colon, polyps and cancer of the colon, rectum or anus.
