What Does Bone Marrow Edema In The Below MRI Report Suggest?

hello i have had an injury last year while skiing and had an mri done the result was: there is a horizontal tear extending through the inferior articular surface of the posterior horn of the medial meniscus, extending between the posterior meniscal root and body of the meniscus. there is a minor subchondral bone marrow edema at the anteromedial margin of the tibial plateau. How serious is this??

I really appreciate your concern, knee joint is very fragile one and highly vulnerable to trauma and disease condition given here could be surgical one but clinical symptoms really matters here, if it causes some severe symptoms then it need to be repaired surgically, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
