What Does Bone Scan Showing Multiple Sclerotic Foci In Bilateral Superior And Inferior Pubic Ramus Mean?

Had a bone scan - results said multiple sclerotic foci mostly in bilateral superior and inferior pubic rami. Demonstrate abnormal radiotracer uptake consistent with foci of bony metastasis. What does this mean to me as a 76 years old male who is undergoing radiation therapy for prostate cancer with following hormone therapy?

Dear-thanks for using our service and taking the time to ask us about your medical problem. The bone scan showed evidence of metastasis from your prostate cancer and that is why you are undergoing radiation therapy and hormone therapy. The sclerotic foci is just secondary to arthritis, not related to metastatic disease. The survival rate of prostate cancer is 10-15 years so you should continue with the recommended treatment .
I hope that my advise has been helpful
