What Does Bp 169/113 With Chest Pain Suggest?

My blood pressure today has ranged between 172/105 and 169/113. I ve also experienced chest pain/discomfort off and on since Thurs. My husband s wants me to go to the hospital. I d rather wait tons we my primary care physician on Mon. Please advise.

Dear Mrs,

I would advise you to go to ED emmediately. Chest pain or discomfort can be signs of heart attack. Also you have elevated blood pressure which is dangerous with chest pain. You should undergo an ECG to rule out heart attack, there can be need for some analyzes also.
