What Does Bright Yellow Nasal Discharge Post Sinusitis Indicate?

Hi my daughter was recently diagnosed with a sinus infection and put on a Zithromax. She has been on 4 days and doing better. This afternoon she was bending over and a bright yellow watery discharge came out of one side of her nose. When she blow it sitting up its clear but when bending over its yellow. Is this just the sinus draining from the infection? Bright yellow color scared her. Not feeling sick. Actually feeling better. YYYY@YYYY

Hello there,
The yellow discharge is the infected mucus draining from sinus. In addition to the antibiotics, u can encourage steam inhalation with few drops of medicated oils like eucalyptus or karvol decongestant capsules frequently like 2-3times a day.That will help in draining the sinus faster.
