What Does Brown Colored Urine Indicate?
My daughter (22) has had mono (they think) for the last month. High fevers and very lethargic, enlarged spleen and feels like crap. Today her urine is brown. Is that something that we need to worry about? She says she is not dehydrated - has been drinking gatorade.

Brown colored urine in Mononucleosis patient's suggests the involvement of liver causing dark brown urine. (suggestive of jaundice). She needs investigations to know about liver function, exclude jaundice.
