What Does Brown Discoloration In The Vagina Indicate?

Hello, I have noticed over the last maybe year or less a small brownish piece of the skin right at the top right side of my clitoris. The skin seems rough or thicker. It sometimes is sore to the touch such as having intercourses. It swells a little but then goes down after a few days but the discoloration still remains. What is this as it was not ever there before.

General & Family Physician 's  Response

Hello, my name is Dr Olgeta Xhufka. I understand your concern. It seems you have warts. A wart is a skin growth caused by some types of the virus called thehuman papillomavirus (HPV). They are transmitted by touch skin to skin or by personal items such as razor or towls. I can clearely diagnose warts by seeing them.
You can treat them at home with treatment such assalicylic acid or duct tape or use podophyline.
Cryotherapy and surgery or antiviral injections are other treatments used at doctors office .
Hope my answer was helpful, if you have any other questions I'll be glad to help you. Best regards.
