Hi,
Semen is jelly like texture and usually whitish gray in colour. This may vary depending on genes, diet or underlying health issues. Brown dots in semen may result from urine in semen due to UTI,
prostatitis,
urinary retention etc; jaundice, sexually transmitted diseases like herpes, Chlamydia or gonorrhea, injuries to seminal vesicles, presence of excess white blood cells in semen, presence of older bloodshed in semen, exposure to heavy metals like lead, nickel or manganese etc, vigorous
masturbation or sex,
substance abuse like alcohol consumption or marijuana, spinal cord injuries etc.
No treatment is needed in most of the cases. Semen may get back its normal colour and texture as time passes. But if symptoms persists for long time or other complications arise, then some investigations like urine R/M/E and C/S, urethral swab for C/S,
semen analysis, ultrasound etc can be done to detect the underlying exact causes and then treat them accordingly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your questions. Let me know if I can assist you further.
