What Does Brown Spotting And Tenderness Of Cervix Indicate?

Hello I am 2 days late and have taken HPT every other day since 10 dpo all have been negative. I temp and my temps dropped at 12 dpo but went back up high than any other day on 13 dpo. Today they went down but not below coverline. My cervix still feels high, soft, and wet. I only have spotting when I am checking my cervix. But not when I wipe and nothing comes out during the day. The discharge is varies from light pink to dark brown. Although on 13 dpo I had some red blood only when I checked my cervix. Checked back an hour later and no more blood, just tan spotting. What is going on? Was that my period? I have a normal 28 day cycle with brown spotting for 3-4 days before period. So this is not normal.
