What Does Brown Vaginal Bleeding After Laparoscopic Gallbladder Removal?

I had my gallbladder removed laproscopically 4 days ago. As of yesterday I was having brown discharge when I would wipe and now I just started my period . I am 6 weeks postpartum today and stopped bleeding 2 weeks ago. I am nursing. Is this normal? Is it something I need to be seen about?
