What Does Brown Vaginal Discharge After A Miscarriage Mean?

I had a miscarriage 5 weeks ago, I was only 4 weeks and 5 days pregnant so I found out early, I found out when I was 4 weeks pregnant. I was due for my period yesterday but never got it, today I have this light brown discharge and this was the sign I got last time when I found out I was pregnant. What does this mean?

Hi,

It’s quite common after a miscarriage.
You can consult a gynecologist and get an ultrasound scan done to rule out any retained tissues. Sometimes you may require a dilation and curettage.
