What Does Brown Vaginal Discharge During Pregnancy Indicate?
hello I am 22 weeks pregnant and I have very bad discharge. my doctor said its normal but I do not believe her. the color is brown and white and I wanted to know if their is any safe medication I can take to stop this from happing. please help me with my situation
I shall make an effort to provide you with good professional recommendations specific to your questions. It's quite common to have more vaginal discharge during pregnancy. What you're noticing is probably normal leukorrhea – the odorless or mild-smelling milky discharge that you may have noticed in your underwear before you were pregnant. There's just a lot more of it now, partly because of increased estrogen production and greater blood flow to the vaginal area. This increased discharge also help to prevent any infections travelling up from the vagina to the womb. I advice you to listen what your consulting doctor suggest as it will be based on the examination and will be in your best interest.
Yet again, I duly appreciate your query to me, I do hope that you have found something useful to help you and I shall be glad to answer any further apprehensions.
Sincerely,
I find this answer helpful
