What Does Brown Vaginal Discharge While Breastfeeding Indicate?
I have been breastfeeding exclusively for 9 months since my baby was born. There has been ni change in my nursing habits. Just today I ve been getting light cramping and now a redish brown discharge when I go to the washroom. My tubes have been tied for 6 months now so I can t imagine it would be implantation. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

It is likely an indication that your period would be restarting at some point soon, the exact time would not be known.
Since your baby would have started to use foods heading towards eating from the family pot by the time he or she is a 1 year old, there would have been some slight decrease in his/her intake of breast milk as foods are introduced to get ready for this change.
