What Does Brown Vaginal Spotting Indicate?

I had brown spotting on 15.8.17 and bleeding at night on 16.8.17 during 9th week pregnancy. And In the morning the bleeding stopped. My doctor did usg and reported blood clot of dimension 1.5cm by 0.9cm. She adviced duphaston 10mg twice., cobadex czs once daily, folinine once daily, and ossum twice daily. Are these medicines upto mark and will my pregnancy survive? I have searched on internet that treatment of subchorionic hematoma is more efficeint by dydrogestron rather than micronised progestron. Is it true? When will blood clot disappear? How long will i have to take duphaston? Should i switch over to susten 200?

Hi, I can understand your concern related to your pregnancy. Duphastone is a very effective medicine. Please continue Duphastone and other medications till your next visit or next scanning. Do not change your medication without your Gynaecologist's advice. The medicines advised by your doctor are absolutely correct and upto the mark. You just need to relax, take enough rest, continue Medicine and wait for your next doctor visit.
Good luck.
