What Does Bruised Breast, Pain In Shoulder And Upper Arm Diagnosed Gunky Cyst In Breast Mean?

Radiologist told me that I either had two masses or 2 gunky cysts at 2 and 3 o clock on left breast. She couldn t make up her mind and finally went with gunky cyst with no plan for follow up. Breast has had some bruising. Now I have shoulder and upper arm pain with what feels like a large lump on humerus bone.

Hello,

It may be a fibrocystic disease arising out of hormonal changes. You can take drugs like mefenemic acid for symptomatic relief. A fine needle biopsy may be done to make a tissue diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain
