What Does Bulky Uterus With Heterogeneous Signal Mean?
I am 50 years old woman my MRI abdomen and pelvis is as below:
Multiplanar, multiecho MR Imaging of the abdomen and pelvis has been performed.
The uterus is anteverted bulky maeasures 8.5x7.5x7.5 cms shows heterogenous signals. Few tiny cystic areas are seen inthe myometerial / endometerial interface. the endometrium is in midline and shows irregular margins.The parametrium appears normal. The cervix is normal in size and shows small nabothian cysts.
The ovaries are atrophic.
Impression:
Bulky uterus with heterogenous signals possibly suggestive of a diffuse adenomyosis / diffuse uterine neoplasm.
No other significant abnormality is seen.
Please advice me in this regards
