What Does Bump On Back Of Mouth With Discolored Roof Of Mouth Suggest?

Hi, I have a small bump in the back of my mouth its been there for three days and has not lessened in size. Also I have purpleish colouring along the roof of my mouth. Ive googled this and it frightens me. Could you please give me an idea what this is.

The bump on the back of your mouth with a purplish hue can be a periodontal or periapical abscess that is collection of the pus secondary to gum or tooth infection. Nothing to be panic, consult a oral physician and take a radiograph and confirm the diagnosis. Mean while you can take a course of antibiotics like amoxicillin and metrnidazole. Do saline gargling.
