What Does Burning Sensation During Urination Suggest?
Over the summer my diet got really bad. I was eating very unhealthy and drinking sodas with every meal and a redbull every morning. I noticed that I my urine started to burn, which it never had before. I went a few days without anything other that water to drink, straightened up my diet and it went away. I went back to having a single redbull in the mornings and the burning came back. Could it be the Red Bull that s causing the slight burn?
Hi, Thanks for writing to HCM. What symptoms you are having of burning sensation during urination is suggestive of urinary tract infection. It is unlikely that drinking Red Bull could have caused this problem. It might have remained asymptomatic for some time and has started showing now. Kindly get the following investigations done: 1. Urine routine with microscopy 2. Urine culture and sensitivity. Depending on the report, you need to take medications accordingly. In the meantime, you can stop drinking unhealthy drinks and drink citrus fruit juices. Drink plenty of fluids to keep yourself hydrated. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
