What Does Burning Sensation In The Throat Indicate?

My throat has this burning sensation and when I eat steamed food and rice it goes away I am worried if this can be throat cancer coz sometimes it hurts to swallow I took omniprozole for two months and found relief that was three months ago now I am experiencing throat burn again help is this not free answer

Cancer would not be specific for the use of steamed food and rice, this means that there would more likely be discomfort for any food or drink that enters the throat.

If you notice that your symptoms are occurring with specific foods, they may need to be discontinued.

You should see your doctor for assessment if the discomfort continues.
