What Does Burning Sensation In The Vagina Indicate?

I am having a slight burning in my vagina and occasional itching but no foul smell or discharge. I am still sexually active with my husband of 53 years but not presently. The symptoms come and go I am using Premarin vaginal cteam twice a week and wondering if possibly that might be causing my problem. Any suggestion you have will be appreciated.

It is unlikely that your problem is caused by the cream you are using.

Premarin is used to treat vaginal dryness or burning sensation in perimenopausal women. Side effects include:

Heavy non-menstrual vaginal bleeding
Body aches or pain
Chills
Cough
Difficulty with breathing
Ear congestion
Fever
Headache
Loss of voice
Nasal congestion
Runny nose
Sneezing
Sore throat
Unusual tiredness or weakness
