What Does Calcification In The Uterus Mean?

The uterus measures 10.0 x 4.2 x 6.7 cm. There is a 1.9 cm hypoechoic mass in the anterior mid myometrium. A small calcification is noted anteriorly. The uterus is otherwise heterogeneous in appearance. No other discrete masses. The endometrial stripe measures 1 cm. The right ovary measures 2.6 x 4.0 x 1.7 cm. The left ovary measures 3.0 x 2.6 x 2.2 cm. Small follicles are noted in each ovary. No adnexal masses or free fluid.
