General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi welcome to ask a doctor service. i have read your question and here is my advice.
Chest pain on the right side is very rarely to be cardiac, However if chest pain is associated with shortness of breath and cough , then it must not be ignored. It may show some problem in the lungs like pneumonia or like pnuemothorax ( ie small rupture in the lung), . So i would advise you should see your doctor urgently to get an x ray of the chest done .
Till that you can take some paracetamol to relieve the pain however do not ignore the problem.
Hopes i have answered your question. I would be glad to answer any thing else you want to know in this regards.
Kind Regards
Dr Rahamn
