What Does Chest Pain While Recovering From Stomach Ulcer Indicate?

Good morning sir,
I am a 45yr old male, an architect. I am presently treating a stomach ulcer and getting better. Still on meds of Omeprasol and cimetidine tabs and some paracetamol.
But there's this chest pain on my upper left close to d middle of my chest.
What cld this mean?
Thx.

Hi,
Thank you for asking your query on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone through your question. Sometimes stomach ulcer does lead to chest pain and it will take some days after starting medication for the chest pain of stomach ulcer to disappear.
However, it is also a possibility that the chest pain can be due to other associated conditions such as heart disease. It is advised to get an EKG, Treadmill test and 2D Echocardiography to rule out the same.
I hope I have answered your query. Let me know in case of any further query.

Best,
Dr Vishesh
