What Does Clot During Ovulation With Ovarian Cyst Mean?

Hello. I recently had an ectopic pregnancy via iui that resolved itself with expectant management. Now I have a five cm functional ovarian cyst accompanied by constant pain and discomfort. I had my period two weeks ago. Now I am ovulating and just passed a one ounce blood clot and am currently bleeding. Not feeling any worse, but worried about the clot. Am expecting the doc to drain or remove the cyst next week. It has been two months of the cyst. What does a clot during ovulation with an ovarian cyst mean?
