What Does Continues Bleeding After Depo Provera Shot Indicate?

I had a depo provera shot and bleeded for 5 month straight after a week really heavy, went to the dr. And had ovary pain only on one ovary. Doing an ultra sound on the 26th, I am having some itching and sweating around the crack of my butt and my butt hole, I put some vaginal cream because I had horrible itching with the bleeding and idk what to use To stop the itching and sweating around my but crack and itchiness from down there. I already took fluconozole and used the monostat cream otc

Hi,

The sweating is not a side effect of Depo Provera however the shot can cause itching over skin as its a common side effect .In the area mentioned in the question where itching is present doesn't appear to be because of the shot and could be a fungal infection which is due to excessive sweating.

There is no significant treatment available to reduce the sweating but you can get rid of the itching by application of Miconazole ointment and Betnovate ointment in 50:50 ratio for first 3 days and thereafter continue applying miconazole ointment alone for at least a month. In addition to this you need to keep the area dry. Wash the area at least 2 to 3 times a day with mild soap and dry the area properly with towel under a fan. Avoid wearing undergarments whenever possible. Wear a cotton garment and change it as frequently as possible.
