What Does Dark Brown Period Indicate While On Contraceptive Pills?

Hi, my period started last night as my monthly dosage of contraceptive pills finished, but then I noticed an unusual spotting color. Today it got heavier as usual, but then my period also look darker, brown almost black. I have the usual cramping as my period would, but its just that looks that scares me, please help. What must I do?

Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
The periods while on oral contraceptive pills are scanty and altered in colour, mostly black or dark brown due to the hormonal effect of the pills.
There is absolutely nothing to worry, and this is normal flow pattern of periods after taking pills.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
