What Does Dark Spots In The Bone Marrow On An MRI Mean?

Hello, I am a 51 year old woman who recently had an MRI. I received new yesterday that 2 shadows or dark spots have appeared in my bone marrow. I was hoping that you could give me some ideas of what this might be or if this is common in women my age.
