What Does Deflated Feeling/pain In Lungs Indicate?
When I wake in the morning I have a terrible pain in my lungs. I can only describe them as feeling deflated. I have to take short breathes and start increasing the length of the breaths until my lungs slowing start to inflate. If I breath in too deep at first the pain is terrible
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic. I can understand your concern. You are having pleuritic pain (pain on deep breathing) and difficulty in breathing. These are seen in bronchitis and pneumonia (lung infection). So better to get done chest x ray and PFT (Pulmonary Function Test). Chest x ray is needed to rule out pneumonia. PFT is needed to rule out bronchitis. If both are normal then no need to worry for any major illness. Stress and anxiety can cause similar symptoms. So avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm. Don't worry, you will be alright. Hope I have solved your query. Wish you good health. Thanks.
