Hello,

I can understand your concern. As your last menstruation period was 2 months ago, you are obviously suffering from irregular periods. This is usually caused my imbalanced hormones that are responsible for timely ovulation and menstruation. As you are feeling sore breasts and back pain, it might be an indication of menstruation coming.

However, I would advise you to visit a gynecologist for the long-term treatment of irregular menstruation. This can happen due to polycystic ovaries, premature ovarian follicle failure, thyroid dysfunction, infection of the uterus/ovaries etc. The doctor after examine you physically may prescribe you blood tests to assess hormonal levels in blood and ultrasonography to rule out other disorders. You can be started on treatment after the test results.

As you have taken morning after pill on both occasions when unprotected sexual intercourse was performed, we are ruling out pregnancy as a reason for delayed menstruation.

I hope this information helps. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I will be glad to answer any further questions.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
