What Does Delayed Period Along With Diarrhea And Headache Indicate? 

Hello, I am 8 days delayed. I was expecting my period on july 27 - July 31. Last month, i have experienced continous sickness within a week like diarhea, head ache, lower body numbness/unexplainable pain (from hips down), back pain for 2 days. I am confuse. I was not able to take my regular supliments for my hormone, & some vitamins last month. I took some synthetic meds to bear the pain which is new to my system. Coz I dont take these usually as much as possible. Can it be a reason why I got delayed? I am feeling weary & stress now. In addition, I am sexually active & had unprotected intercourse on the 7th day after my period. (Period:june 27, July 3: intercourse). i actually dont want a baby. Can pregnancy occur? :-(

Hi,
I understand your concern.
You have a regular 30 days menstrual cycle.. making your fertile days around 13th to 18th day. So you dont have possibility of conception on 7th day of periods.
The delay you have may be due to your recent health problem (Diarrhea, head ache ) along with the medications . In addition missing your hormonal supplements ( hope not contraceptives).. has resulted in hormonal disturbance.
Still when you are 8 days delayed.. you acn exclude pregnancy by home pregnancy test... & remain carefree.
