What Does Delayed Periods, Cramps, Pimples With HPT Negative Mean?

Hi ! I am 3 days late with no period yet and last night I had really bad cramps to the point where I had to take an advil and I am breaking out all over my face with pimples. I took a pregnancy test yesterday clear blue and it was negative. However, I have lost 40 pounds in the last 7 months so it might be due to my weight loss plus my periods have always been irregular. FYI I just had a baby 8 months ago. Let me know what you think.

Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Delayed periods can be due to stress, pregnancy, hormonal disturbances like hypothyroidism, hyperprolactemia or polycystic ovarian disease.
If the urine pregnancy test is negative, then the pregnancy is ruled out.
Sudden weight loss also puts stress on the body and leads to hormonal disturbances leading to delay in periods.
Cramps in lower abdomen and pimples are most likely due to premenstrual hormonal changes.
I suggest you to wait for your periods for a week.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
