What Does Delayed Periods While On Adipex After Childbirth Mean?
I m taking adipex now and my period is always 28 days i just recently had a baby in july and now my period is late i don t usually have late periods unless im pregnant i just started talking the drug last month on aug 17 my period was on and my period was suppose to come on yesterday im late this is not like me
I can understand your concern. I understand you have always had 28 days cycle which has not delayed even for a day before, but the hormonal changes, stress the body is going through after childbirth, etc. can make your cycle little early or delayed for a reasonable amount of days. If you are delayed for more than 10 days for your menstruation, then visiting a gynecologist for investigations regarding delayed periods is advised.
In addition, did you start Adipex after consulting with your doctor? There are no confirmed data regarding secretion of this drug in breast milk and its possible adverse effects on the nursing baby. So I would advise you to take advise of your consulting doctor, if you have started this medicine on your own.
I hope this answer helps you. Thank you for choosing HCM. Take care.
