What Does Dizziness And Light Headedness After Tooth Removal Suggest?
Hello...my daughter is 13 years old... she has had to have 2 baby tooth pulled out and they were really really big teeth. she had them pulled out Wednesday. Since then she feels dizzy and light headed. There is also a white bump forming in her whole...is she doing an infection or is it normal?
As per your complain lightheadedness and dizziness after extraction is not due to extraction but it can be due to the heavy dose of antibiotics and painkillers given after extraction to prevent pain and infection..
It can also be due to side effect of any of the constituents of medicine which is given to her..
I would suggest you to consult your dentist and explain the current symptoms so that the dentist can re-check and adjust the dose accordingly or change the medicine..
The other thing is that the white lump forming in the extraction socket ( hole) is nothing to be worried as it is not any infection but the newly forming healing tissue..
Hoping your child gets well soon..
Thanks and regards.. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora..
