We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, it seems you may get sore muscles of the neck secondary to swimming and need some muscle relaxants and warm compression. kindly avoid swimming for few days and give he muscle adequate rest. consult your physiotherapist as well and get X-ray cervical spine done.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
