What Does Dry Cough Along With High Fever Indicate?

Hi, I have had dry cough since 3-4 weeks, it keeps occurring now and then. After that i had fever once a week for 3 weeks, where one day I would have 101-102 F fever and then it would come down in a day or two. This time i got it checked by doctor and they got the CBC and ESR test done. My WBC count is 20,000 and ESR is 70mm. I am waiting for blood culture report. Is there anything I should be concerned about meanwhile?

Hello dear. I think you should consider doing a Rx too. It looks like an atipic pneumonie or a mycoplasma pneumonie infection. It is right to weigh for culture results. Meanwhile try to use any herbal syrup for dry cough to relive symptoms and culture will indicate type of antibiotics you should be taking. Best regards.
