What Does Dull Ache In Testicle Suggest?

Hi there. Im chris I m 29 and over the last week I have been feeling a dull ache in my right testicle. With my last girlfriend we did not always use protection which was over 12mts ago could that have any roll in to the reason I have testicular pain?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Since you had unprotected sex 12 months ago, sexually transmitted infection is not a likely cause for your pain. However, conditions like varicocele, mass lesions in the testis can cause such pain. Thorough physical examination, urine analysis, and testicular ultrasound are needed at this point. Please follow up with your primary provider for a detailed evaluation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Lekshmi Rita Venugopal, General & Family Physician
