What Does Electricity Around Right Side Of Heart Indicate?

my partner has to much electricity around the right side of his heart..hes always had heart problems ..a hole in the heart when he was born and hes had 2 stents put in aswell..hes had a operation today where they zapped some of the electricity around his heart but left his reveal device in to see if theres any change..what does this mean for him..will he be able to work and lead a normal life...and with what iv told you will he live a healty normal life.. thank you

He probably had a condition called Tachy-arrhythmia (like VT, AF etc) which was cardioverted. In these conditions, which may occur due to a scarring of the heart tissue due to a previous heart attack, are very serious conditions.
The Reveal Device (we call them ILR- Implantable Loop Recorder) monitors any such irregular heart rhythm event and are later downloaded to a system for analysis.
If they are showing condition like VT, Ventricular Tachycardia, he may require implantation of a device calle ICD (Implantable Cardiac Defibrillator)
