What Does Elevated Blood Glucose Levels Indicate?

I had some blood work done because I m having I m having surgery in 2 weeks. My glucose test came back and it came back and it said it was a high. Ive never had this issue before so I m not sure what to do or what it means. It says its 109. Is that very high considering the level ends at 99 I think? Could you help me?

Your blood sugar is just borderline, no need to worry regarding this.
Have healthy diet and do frequent exercises
