What Does Elevated Heart Rate Indicate?

i have developed a high heart rate - 95PRBPm at rest and up to 140 when walking with shortness of breath over the last 4 weeks. I have a history of pulmonary embolisms but a d-dimer value of .27 rules out a occurrence. Echo-cardiogram was normal. I am at a loss.

I think you should go for a stress test like Treadmill Test and if it comes out positive, further action like coronary angiography may be indicated.
