Elliptocytes comprise less than 1 per cent of normal blood smear finding.If more elliptocytes seen it can be hereditary elliptocytosis or may be seen in other forms of Anaemia like iron deficiency or Thallaesemia.Your son's report shows occasional elliptocytes they are within normal range,his neutrophil count is raised relatively but ESR is normal,i think this can be passed off as normal report.No need to worry.Take care!
